Join us for a powerful panel discussion on how Black leaders are challenging the system, resisting the status quo and creating change. We are thrilled to host Chief Commissioner Patricia DeGuire (the Chief Commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission), Dr. Remi Warner (Interim Executive Director of the Human Rights Legal Support Centre), Alexandra Kane (Music Director at the Grand Theatre, Lead Activist for Black Lives Matter London, and Founding Member of the Black London Network) and Oghenetega (“Tega”) Glory Odjevwedje (Co-president of the Black Law Student’s Association, Western Chapter). This free event is hosted in collaboration with the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Western, Western Law, the Robbins Ollivier Speaker Series Committee, Black Law Student's Association (BLSA), King's University College, and Black at Western Future Lawyers.
