Join the Rotman Institute and the Department of Philosophy for their annual public lecture series, co-sponsored with the London Public Library, on Thursdays in October.
This year’s theme: how do we experience and measure time or form memories of the past?
First, Emily Adlam will discuss retrocausation, a physics model which says that the future can sometimes influence the past. She’ll discuss retrocausal models, the connection to time travel & the grandfather paradox, and what they mean for quantum mechanics.
In upcoming talks, learn about the relationship between time & space, art's impact on cultural memory, and the capacity of human memory.
