Visual Arts Open Studios and Research Presentations

Important update - April 11, 2024: PSAC 610 is on strike, and in solidarity, the graduate students of the Visual Arts Department have indefinitely postponed this year's Open Studios and Research Presentations that were to be held on 13 April at the John Labatt Visual Arts Centre.
Join us for this year’s OPEN STUDIOS and RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS!
In this free event, our grads will be providing an inside look into the interdisciplinary study and practices that come together in the Visual Arts department. MFAs and PhDs are opening their studios and presenting their research.
Come see the creative process, engage in relevant discussions, get inspired, and meet our cohort!
Starting at 11am in the John Labatt Visual Arts Centre on Perth Drive, come explore the studios of Tia Bates, Steve DeBruyn, Brittany Forrest, Philip Gurrey, Jessica Joyce, Masha Kouznetsova, Yijing Li, Racquel Rowe, and Imogen Wilson.
A light lunch will be provided in VAC 206 from 1pm to 2pm.After lunch, a Graduate Symposium will be held in VAC 100 where Blessy Augustine, Ana Moyer, Yijing Li, and Imogen Wilson will be presenting their research.
Paid and accessible parking is available in the lot between the Visual Arts and North Campus buildings. Free parking is available across the street in the Middlesex parking lot. The Visual Arts building has accessible entrances and an elevator.
Masks will be available.
