2024 Goodman Lecture Series

Western University's History Department will be welcoming Professor emeritus of History at McGill University, Allan Greer, to speak about the topic of rum and it's influence on North America over the last few hundred years.

Dr. Greer will be delivering three distinct talks over three days. 

The date and titles of these talks are as followed:

October 1, 2024- Drinking on the Job: The Atlantic Fisheries

October 2, 2024 - Rum Conquers Quebec

October 3, 2024 - Rum in the Fur Trade
