Pertinent Information: Dr. Ssekitoleko is a lecturer, researcher and the head of the Biomedical Engineering Program at Makerere University in Uganda. His main interest is in removing barriers to Global Health technologies, with knowledge, experience and skills in medical device design, prototyping, device trials and translation. He is also the current President of the Global Frugal Diagnostic Network (GDFN) and the Vice-President of the Uganda National Association for Medical and Hospital Engineers.
