Guest Artist Concert: Joel Sachs, piano - American Pioneers

Joel Sachs, piano, Professor Emeritus, The Juilliard School, presents "American Pioneers" and will be performing the rarely-played Piano Sonata No. 1 of Charles Ives as well as piano works by Aaron Copeland, Ruth Crawford Seeger and Henry Cowell.
During his residency Professor Sachs will give a masterclass with students in the Contemporary Music Studio, and will present Living It: A global life in new music as part of Western Music's Graduate Colloquium Series.
