Navigating microaggressions: Strategies for Inclusive Engage

This workshop is offered in collaboration with Western's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as part of the Own Your Future program's Communication & Relationship Building Curriculum.

This dynamic and interactive workshop equips participants with the tools and strategies to identify, address, and challenge microaggressions in the workplace, the classroom, and everyday settings. Participants will explore the subtle, often unintentional, behaviours and comments that can create exclusionary environments and learn how to engage in meaningful, constructive dialogue to foster inclusion and respect. 

Following this workshop, participants will have new knowledge and skills to build meaningful partnerships and collaborations, and to effectively work with others across difference.
