Canadian Journalists for Free Expression and the Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS) at Western University invite you to a special panel discussing the upcoming Canadian federal election. Leading voices from Canadian news will try to answer some of the most important political questions of our time:

  • What’s in store for Canadian federal politics in 2025?
  • What effect with the turmoil in the U.S. have on our election?
  • How will journalists meet the needs of Canadians who care about what’s at stake?
  • How can Canadian media overcome the threats of bots, trolls, disinformation, polarization and filter bubbles?

Featuring moderator Carol Off, Canadian journalist, author, and former host of CBC Radio's As It Happens.
