Breaking Barriers: Womxn Imams in Conversation
Room: Creative Commons (2nd floor)
Join us for a groundbreaking public event bringing together three pioneering womxn imams from Canada, Denmark, and England, moderated by Sheima Benembarek, author of Halal Sex: The Intimate Lives of Muslim Womxn in North America.
The imams will provide a global perspective on issues such as gender equality in religious spaces, the role of womxn in Islamic leadership, and the future of feminism and faith in a rapidly changing world.
