Are you a FIMS grad student interested in understanding your responsibilities when doing Indigenous research? Please join Katie Big-Canoe (Indigenous Research Specialist, Western Research) and Lorraine Davies (Associate Vice-Provost, SGPS) for an informative session that will cover: 

  • how to recognize the relevance of Indigenous history and research for graduate education today
  • understand the responsibility for community engagement for research that involves or has implications for Indigenous communities
  • understand how the thesis regulations support students
  • how and when to access available Indigenous resources

This workshop is presented by FIMS GSS, the FIMS Dean's Office, in collaboration with Western Research and the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS).
