Join Meghan O’Hara and learn how to turn your talents into strengths beyond the classroom.

With years of experience at Western, Dr. Meghan O’Hara brings a deep understanding of the university’s programs and resources to support graduate students. Having earned both her MA and PhD in English at Western (2012; 2017) and working in Student Experience since 2021, she is well-equipped to help students navigate available resources and build a plan for success throughout their graduate studies.

As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Meghan takes a strengths-based approach to coaching. She is dedicated to cultivating each student's unique strengths and providing the guidance, support, and strategies needed to thrive.

The Department of English and Writing Studies at Western University is committed to providing assistance and guidance to graduate students seeking professionalization and placement.
