The focus of the workshop, presented by recent SSHRC Insight Grant winners Rachel Heydon, Perry Klein, and Anton Puvirajah, will be building elements into your application that distinguish successful vs unsuccessful grant applications, including each component of the proposal: detailed description, presenting yourself as a researcher, knowledge mobilization, training HQPs, and preparing the budget, including in-kind contributions. We hope to provide valuable information to faculty planning to do qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods studies.
