Public Afternoon – Valentine’s Rocks!

On Saturday, February 8th from 11am-3pm, the Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite at Western University (North Campus Building room 120) will be hosting a public event – Valentine’s Rocks! Get creative and make your own geology-themed valentines. We will be displaying minerals and rocks from our collections alongside ammonites from our newest donation. You could say some of them are a perfect match! 

We will have activities for children recommended ages 6 and up. As always, this public afternoon at the Richard W. Hutchinson Geoscience Collaborative Suite will also include beautiful exhibitions of rocks, minerals, fossils and meteorites from around the world.
