Grand Rounds: Dr. Seth Climans, Neuro-Oncology Fellow
Join the Department of Oncology for Seth Climans,Neuro-Oncology Fellow for his presentation "Perspectives of Neuro-Oncology Clinicians on Medical Assistance in Dying".
Dr. Climans will be discussing the current legal landscape for medical assistance in dying (MAiD) in Canada and elsewhere, how to recognize clinical factors that might signal impaired mental capacity around end-of-life decisions in brain cancer patients, and how to understand the reasons why neuro-oncology clinicians might or might not support a given patient's decision to have MAiD.
