Join the Department of Oncology for Dr. Sara Kuruvilla & Christina Parker's presentation "The Lost Consonants: Hearing Loss in the context of curative treatment for Head and Neck Cancers."

Dr. Kuruvilla and Parker will be discussing the association between hearing loss and Cisplatin based chemotherapy in cancer patients, the factors including biomarkers that may predict for ototoxicity in patients receiving Cisplatin based chemotherapy, and will review the development of a multicenter randomized trial to assess hearing loss in the context of the curative intent treatment of locally advanced head and neck cancers.
