Speaker: Dr. Marie-Eve Tremblay, PhD, Professor, Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Neurobiology of Aging and Cognition, Division of Medical Sciences, University of Victoria
Talk Title: "Effects of Cannabis and Psychedelics on Microglia"
Bio: Dr. Marie-Eve Tremblay completed her PhD in Neuroscience at Université de Montréal and held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Rochester and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She became an Assistant Professor at Université Laval in 2013, where she was awarded a Tier II Canada Research Chair in 2017. In 2020, she joined the University of Victoria as a Professor and holds a Tier II CRC in Neurobiology of Aging and Cognition. She is also a member of the Royal Society of Canada's College of New Scholars.
